Guide to Tilted Towers

Overview

Tilted Towers is by far the most popular landing spot in Fortnite. Due to its location and sheer size, games tend to revolve around Tilted. If you are pushing across the map to get into the circle, chances are you will have to deal with the traffic coming in and out of this town. Although extremely popular there is plenty of loot to go around. Inside Tilted are the tallest buildings in the game, with multiple levels and hidden chests. Learning how to maneuver these buildings can give you a giant advantage next time you drop into a game.

Landing Locations

Trump Tower

Callout: Trump
Chest Spawns: 4
Rating: 9/10

(Insert Img)

Trump Tower is one the most unique building designs in the game. Not only is it the tallest building in the game but it features multiple windows and pathways that are wide open which makes it very easy to navigate. These openings allow for players to parachute into the building from every angle so be careful. We recommend trying to land on the highest floor just below the roof, in order to obtain the high ground advantage which can be crucial to controlling the rest of the town. Landing on the roof itself is not advisable due to the limited loot available.

Stacks

Callout: Stacks
Chest Spawns: 4
Rating 10/10

(Insert Img)

Formerly known as twin towers, stacks is season 4’s newest addition to Tilted Towers. Throughout season 4 the town has undergone construction and changes were made weekly to the building due to the original building being hit by an asteroid. The end result turned out to be one of the most powerful buildings in the game. Stacks has an abundance of chests in a very small area with plenty of cover from the surrounding buildings. As if the phenomenal loot was not enough, the entire building is absolutely covered in pallets. Previously, the biggest issue with landing Tilted Towers was that you would tend to run out of materials due to lack of trees and rocks. However, with the addition of stacks you can easily farm 500+ wood before ever leaving the area.

Apartments

Callout: Apartments
Chest Spawns: 2
Rating: 7/10

(Insert Img)

Apartment style buildings with enough loot for a solo or duo to start here. We recommend landing here if you’re newer to the game. It’s not as popular as some of the other skyscrapers in town so you can loot safely and efficiently. For a quick kill and map control we recommend grabbing a gun off the roof and taking shots at any players landing in the pawn shop area, if possible. Be careful around this area during mid game as many players will rotate to the mountain above from Shifty Shafts (link) & Greasy Grove.

L Buildings

Callout: L’s
Chest Spawns: ???
Rating: 7/10

(Insert Img)

Essentially the same as apartments with some slight layout changes. Corner brick, Trump and Rectangle all have open shots to you if you land on the roof so be careful. Rotations out of the map often pass through this area making it a hot spot for early game fights.

Corner Brick

Callout: Brick
Chest Spawns: ???
Rating: 8/10

(Insert Img)

Depending on the direction of the bus you can reach the roof of Brick and grab a gun as everyone else is still landing, leading to some early game eliminations. The layout is a tall and skinny, under construction style building. A couple pallets located inside make for easy early game materials. Typically after looting you can remain on top for a nice high ground advantage or engage players at L’s or Garage.

Pawn Shop

Callout: Pawn
Chest Spawns: 2
Rating: 4/10

(Insert Img)

One of the smaller buildings in town with minimal loot. The biggest downfall to landing here is that you will be stuck down low while players in all of the surrounding buildings will have high ground on you. The chests are located in a cellar under the building. There is only one entrance/exit which can make play very claustrophobic if other players show up. a vending machine spawns here as well.

Grandpas

Callout: Grandpa
Chest Spawns: ???
Rating: 5/10

(Insert Img)

Tucked into the corner of Tilted, this building is viable for a safer landing spot similar to Pawn Shop. Be careful landing on this roof because the taller surrounding roofs will already have players with guns and a clear sight to you. This building is also prone to outside rotations due to its location on the perimeter of the town.

Clock Tower

Callout: Clock
Chest Spawns: 4???
Rating: ???

Taco House

Callout: Taco
Chest Spawns: ???
Rating: 6/10

(Insert Img)

Once again this is a pretty basic building tucked into the corner but is a littler safer with typically better loot than Grandpas house. This building is jam packed with furniture to destroy for materials & big trees out back make for some early game farming. If you find yourself dying too often at the more popular skyscrapers, try landing here and then take on the rest of the town.

Rectangle Building

Callout: Rectangle
Chest Spawns: ???
Rating: 8/10

(Insert Img)

This multi-layered condo style build is full of tight corners & loot. If you are fortunate enough to wipe the enemies & finish looting you are going to leave decently looted. Fighting in this building can be very tough due to the straight up and down style of the staircase. 3rd personing the correct angles and using a right hand peak advantage will drastically improve your results here.

Basketball Court

Callout: Basketball
Chest Spawns: 3
Rating: 6/10

(Insert Img)

One of the less popular landing spots just due to the simple fact that it’s much lower than the rest of the town which puts you at an immediate disadvantage. Usually this is a secondary looting spot that rotating players will hit.

Ninja

Callout: Ninja
Chest Spawns: 2
Rating 6/10

(Insert Img)

Ninja building is wedged right in the middle of all the giant buildings in tilted. It has an apartment above and a store below both containing chests. A good strategy is to land here and quickly grab loot so that you can have a safer start before working your way through Trump or Stacks.

Garage

Callout: Garage
Chest Spawns: 1
Rating 2/10

(Insert Img)

We do not recommend landing here due to the lack of loot and obvious low ground. Garage is a secondary looting spot and you can expect to find players rotating through after a few minutes have passed. A vending machine can also spawn here.

4-Square

Callout: 4-Square
Chest Spawns: 2
Rating 2/10

(Insert Img)

Not a building but players still land here because of the exposed chest in the center. The only upside to landing here is that it has multiple trees that can be farmed for quick early game materials but you run the risk of being shot just about any building in town. There is a second chest located just to the side of 4 square towards the underground bridge. It can only be accessed by destroying the brick floor as it is located below the ground.
